The Aragua Train would be using teenagers in Times Square to spread terror

Security agencies in Manhattan have discovered a new faction of the Tren de Aragua, made up mostly of teenagers who commit armed robberies in Times Square and call themselves Los Diablos de la 42.
These gang members range from 11 years old and are highly effective in committing robberies. In this sense, it was revealed that they rob local residents and tourists with guns, a senior official of the New York Police Department told the New York Post.
He also pointed out that most of them would live in shelters in Manhattan awaiting asylum.
Meanwhile, the deputy chief of the detective bureau, Jason Savino, pointed out that since they are minors, they easily avoid jail.
“There are brazen individuals. We know that they have access to weapons, which is evident by the fact that they have committed robberies at gunpoint and have been brazen enough to display guns on their social networks,” he said.
He said that it would be a faction of about 20 people, of whom all have been arrested. However, none is currently in custody, according to Savino.
“They committed the robberies in all the attractive places, in Central Park and its surroundings, in Times Square and its surroundings, in public transportation and its surroundings. And they targeted tourists,” he said.
He also expressed his concern that a gang war could break out between the Tren de Aragua and the Latin Kings, a group with years of criminal history in the Big Apple.
The officer added that these groups mostly choose teenagers who cannot be tried as adults. The state recently banned bail for minor crimes and most serious crimes, so most of these young people who commit crimes are released within a few hours.
