Also known as “La Flaca,” she is involved in drug and sex trafficking operations: the Venezuelan gang was designated by Governor Greg Abbot as a “terrorist organization.”
The woman, a Venezuelan national, was apprehended by authorities in Texas on September 27.
Primera crossed the border illegally with members of her family near El Paso in August 2023 and was quickly released in the United States, Homeland Security sources told The Post.
Primera is being held in an El Paso jail on $200,000 bail.
Sources also revealed that a few weeks after her release, the Venezuelan woman, who is a member of the Tren de Aragua, abandoned the ankle monitor. According to Texas authorities, members of the gang can be distinguished by the tattoos they wear.
In her photographs and videos, published since 2022, you can see her passage through the Darien Jungle, also known as the “Darién Gap”, a vast tropical region located between Colombia and Panama, through which thousands of immigrants cross on their way to the United States. In the various images shared with her hundreds of followers, the woman who has tattoos in different areas of her body, would have been seen in various areas of El Paso, the city where she was arrested.
Days ago, a member of the Aragua Train was arrested by the Texas authorities for committing a serious crime. The woman, known as “La Barbie” or “La Flaca,” is part of the gang, originally from Venezuela, which a few weeks ago was designated by Texas Governor Greg Abbot as a “terrorist organization,” for which a reward of up to $5,000 was offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of members.
According to a Border Patrol memo, to which the New York Post had access, the woman was identified as Estefanía Primera, and is accused of running a sex trafficking operation from a hotel in the city of El Paso. “La Barbie” was arrested on Friday, September 27, at the corner of Father Rahm and Mesa St., while she was accompanied by five minor children. Regarding the children, the report reveals that according to interviews, “La Barbie” used her children to store and sell drugs.
