Tijuana. – This Thursday night there was an armed attack against the Agape shelter, leaving a 25-year-old migrant woman wounded by a bullet.
The first reports indicate that armed men opened fire in the back of the shelter and thus the gun projectiles hit the migrant woman’s shoulder when she slept in a tent, a place where she lives because she is fleeing due to insecurity and has been displaced from Michoacan.
The Red Cross unit arrived at the scene to give the woman first aid, she was hit in the shoulder and the bullet came out near the neck, so she was taken to the General Hospital where she is in stable health.
People from the Agape Shelter indicate that they called 911 but the lines were saturated, therefore they pressed the panic button and that is how the police corporations arrived moments later.
