“Husband of Delegate of the National Institute of Migration in the state of Chiapas is arrested.”

Tijuana. – Unofficial sources have reported the arrest of the husband of the delegate of the National Institute of Immigration Paola Lopez Rodas who exercises her position in Tapachula Chiapas.

The veterinarian with the name of Juan Pablo “N”, it is known that he was arrested by the Prosecutor’s Office that specializes in organized crime under the arguments of environmental crimes but he is also directly accused of being the culprit of the accident of the trailer tragedy on December 9, 2021 where 56 migrants of different nationalities lost their lives.

Different versions have come to light where it is also speculated that the delegate Paola Rodas has resigned from her post after her husband’s arrest for different accusations such as human trafficking. However, the National Immigration Institute has informed through a statement that the official has not resigned from her position.

Numerous trucks have been detained in the part of Veracruz, Puebla and the northern borders with migrants who have been trafficked and passing through different inspection points that are in charge of agents of the (INAMI) and the National Guard, but so far human trafficking through land transport in cargo trucks has not been detected on the southern border in Tapachula Chiapas, which has caused uncertainty and suspicion about the actions of the National Immigration Institute.
