A migrant from Ghana gave his perspective on the migration of Africans to Aztec lands:

“For now, only we know that there are people from our country who arrive at immigration and we see each other, I cannot talk about the problems that exist in the country, I am afraid there is a very big problem, I came alone and I have been waiting for more than 7 months. and I have nothing or a place to sleep or food or anything, the system is not good, we know that it is very difficult to get to the United States, we want to work in Mexico on the northern border”.

So far in the 2022 cycle, more than 334 people have been reported from the countries of Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon, Congo, Togo and Mauritania who have sought to reach North American soil under the argument of political persecution.
