Tijuana.- Thanks to an anonymous call to 089, members of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC) and elements of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) carried out an operation at Tijuana Airport Boulevard in which they managed to secure three individuals in possession of half a ton of methamphetamine and more than 60 thousand fentanyl pills.
The detainees were guarding a property
in which there would presumably be more illicit substances, along with an Astro-type Chevrolet truck, which had US California license plates.
Security members searched the interior of the truck and found 370 packages made of black adhesive tape, transparent plastic and cardboard that covered a substance similar to methamphetamine that weighed approximately 536 kilograms.
They also found 68 transparent bags, 47 of them had blue tablets and the rest had colored pills similar to fentanyl. In total, 63,000 pills were seized.
Due to the foregoing, the individuals were immediately detained and taken to the corresponding body to determine their legal situation.
